Nuclear family: The traditional family type structure. Family that contains two parents and children.

Single parent family: This family contains one parent raising one or more children on their own. It could be a single father or single mother.

Extended family: This family structure consists of two or more adults who are related, either by blood or marriage, living in the same house.

Childless family:Simply, a family that cannot have children or chooses not to.

Step family: this family consists of a husband, wife, or spouse and their child/children from previous relationship(s) or marriage(s)
I wasnt able to find much on this topic. but heres what ive got. Three important facets of the contemporary family measured by Census statistics involve marriage and divorce, declining fertility, and the rise of single-headed families. Between 1960 and 1998, the proportion of Americans age 15 and over who had never married increased from 19% to almost 25% among women, and from about 25% to about 31% among men. This change was greatest during the 1960s and the 1990s.

Sample Response:  Any group of individuals can be a family. Generally a family consists of an adult or adults that care for children. Different types of families include single parents, two-parent, extended, adoptive, foster, and blended.

Hihi!

A correct answer to this would be 1. Family is a group of people more than likely related by ancestor, marriage, or adoption who form a cooperative economic unit to care for any offspring and each other! Than for the second part, two kinda of families could be a nuclear family, which is a family that consists of two parents and at least one child. Then another example of a type of family could be an extended family which is two or more adults who are related living in the same home, this family could also include many relatives living together!
