# Draw or write to show two ways to use a double fact to find 6+7

so if I'm correct what you do is you multiply 5 times 2
If you know 6+6 you know 6+7 because 6+7 is 1 more than 6+6.

6+6=12 while 6+7=13.

Another way to look at it is 7+7=14 so 6+7 is 1 less than it making 6+7=13.
I believe the answer is 2.5 plus 2.5
Here are a few doubles facts:

5+5=10
2+2=4
3+3=6

A double is simply a pair of identical numbers added together. There's a pair of doubles you can subtract 1 from to get 6+7, and there's a pair you can add 1 to get the same answer. What are those pairs?

Hint: If you take the example 3+4, you can either subtract 1 from the double 4+4 or add 1 to the double 3+3 to obtain your answer.
1 + 1 = 2
2 + 2 = 4
3 + 3 = 9
4 + 4 = 8
5 + 5 = 10
6 + 6 = 12
7 + 7 = 14
8 + 8 = 16
9 + 9 = 18
10 + 10 = 20

Except 3 + 3; all sums are even numbers.

Doubles + 1 fact:

6 + 6 = 12
12 + 1 = 13
6 + 7 = 13

This is better explained using tokens or counters.

Doublets means when two same single digit number or two digit number are added, we get the result equal to number multiplied by 2.For Example

1+1=1×2=2

2+2=2×2=4

9+9=2×9=18

Now, we have to find sum Using doublets.

First Way

→6+7

=6+6+1

=2×6+1

=12+1

=13

Second way

→6+7

→7-1+7

→7+7-1

→2×7-1

→14-1

=13

5 or -5

Step-by-step explanation:

3+2=5

-1(3+2)=-5

4+4

Step-by-step explanation:

6+2=8 4+4=8

6 + 7 = 13 - 7 = 6 or 13 - 6 = 7
Easy the two ways are 6+7 or 7+6
