# Line segment wx is the radius of circle x, and line segment zy is the radius of circle y. points w, x, c, y, and z are all on line segment wz. what is the area of circle c, which passes though points w and z?

Given :  Circles whose diameter lying on line segment WXCYZ

To find : Area of Circle with Center C

Solution:

WX = Radius of Circle X  = 8

=> Diameter of Circle X = 2 * 8 = 16

=> Diamter of Circle Y = 2 * 10 = 20

Length of WZ = 16 + 20 = 36

=> Diameter of circle C  = 36

=> Radius of Circle  C = 36/2 = 18

=> Area of Circle C = π(18)²

= 324π

324π   is the area of circle C

If radius of a circle is 21 cm then find its area. -

Find the area of circle x² + y² = 25. -

Point D is the midpoint of the outer circle that we aim to find the area o.The circle has a diameter of WZ and radii of WC and CZ.We know that YZ=YD=10 cm .Let DC be x and CY be 10-x

The radius of the outer circle can be written as 8+8+x or 10+10-x which we can equate to find the value of x

8+8+x=10+10-x

16+x=20-x

2x=4

x=2

Therefore, the radius of the circle is 8+8+2=18

And hence the area of the circle is   \pi (18^{2})=324 \pi

hope u get it

Point D is the midpoint of the outer circle that we aim to find the area of

The circle has a diameter of WZ and radii of WC and CZ

We know that YZ=YD=10 cm

Let DC be  and CY be

The radius of the outer circle can be written as  or  which we can equate to find the value of

Therefore, the radius of the circle is

And hence the area of the circle is =324

Option C : 324PI units square

Step-by-step explanation:

Just took the test on edge

I think the answer is C. 324 but i'm not sure. lemme know if i'm wrong and what the correct answer is

Step-by-step explanation:

324Pi

Step-by-step explanation:

324Pi units squared

Step-by-step explanation:

8+8+x=10+10-x
16+x=20-x
2x=4
x=2

The radius of a circle is 8+8+2=18

π(18^2)

324 π
324π if u cant see the answer I guess someone has to help. its C 324π
